Warning: Spoilers for Episode 3 of this adventure are included.
The Combat-Oriented Party Revealed
The third episode finished on a dramatic pause and presented the initial group of heroes who will separate from the central cast to begin their own adventure, distinct from the additional parties.
The Soldiers table consists of Teor (brought to life by the voice actor), Thimble (the talented performer), the fierce warrior (Whitney), Wicander (Sam), and Kattigan Vale (the actor).
The Reason for Division
Given 13 cast members, it was evident from the start that having everyone at a single group would be unworkable.
Hence, the opening chapters of this story serve as an Prelude, weaving together the characters’ stories before splitting into three smaller tables: Fighters, Strategists, and Seekers.
Characteristics of the Warrior Group
As described by the DM, the warrior group is for players who are drawn to a traditionally charged combat and conflict-driven story mode where peaceful solutions are rare.
At first glance, figures such as the reluctant priest Wicander Halovar might seem unsuited, but the developments of the third episode demonstrate why these five characters are perfectly fit for the warrior group.
Reasons to Leave
First, the party knows exactly where to proceed after a violent initial meeting with the antagonists.
A former ally of Thjazi Fang—whose passing kicked off the narrative’s action—used The Crow Keepers for his selfish purposes, invading the secret base, striking Thimble, and taking all the enchanted items to sell off.
Casimir then paid off his obligations and fled to a Halovar stronghouse in the remote area, north of the city, with Cyd close behind.

Moreover, each adventurer has a personal reason to exit the urban setting:
- The rogue, as the close ally and trusted friend, desires vengeance.

- The warrior and Wicander, having resisted his house’s orders to eliminate Teor and instead freed him, have no safe haven.
- However, their reputation as important members in the powerful family could assist the team enter places they typically wouldn’t be able to.
- Furthermore, Teor vowed a unbreakable promise to The cleric for his rescue and will now accompany him anywhere.
Wanted and Hunted
Lastly, all of them are hunted by the powers that rule Dol-Makjar for a multiple motives, making remaining behind dangerous:
- The rogue and Kattigan are notorious outlaws.
- Tyranny and The cleric betrayed the influential house and the legion of demons they are allied with.
- The fighter is marked for death by the clan.
This means them no alternative but to head to the remote area in pursuit of the antagonist.
